Senior IT Engineer · Infrastructure · DevOps · AI
A technical partner for businesses that value stability, security and practical results.
I have spent more than 20 years working with IT infrastructure and production systems: Windows and Linux, networks, servers, cloud environments, DevOps, automation, cybersecurity and integrations. For the past 2+ years, I have also focused deeply on AI/LLM solutions, local models, AI assistants, workflow automation and products where AI is a real system component rather than a decorative feature.
Who I am
I am Dmytro Haponiuk. My professional foundation is systems engineering and IT operations. For more than 20 years I have worked with infrastructure, networks, servers, Windows and Linux, security, automation, integrations and business-critical environments.
I do not force problems into one product or fashionable stack. I start with the system, its dependencies and the real business need, then choose the technology. During the last 2+ years, AI/LLM work has become a substantial part of that practice: local models, AI assistants and products with AI components.
System thinking
I am used to situations where configuring one service is not enough. The real task is understanding dependencies between infrastructure, networks, access, applications, security, users and business processes.
That makes me equally comfortable as an external technical partner, a senior engineer inside a team, or the person who receives a complex problem and is expected to produce a clear plan, implementation and a stable result.

Core competencies
Not a random tool list, but areas where I can take a task from analysis and architecture through implementation and support.
Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, file services, networks, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, troubleshooting, endpoints and business-critical environments.
Docker, Git, CI/CD, PowerShell, Python, Bash, deployment workflows, administrative automation, monitoring, release procedures and environment support.
VPN, server hardening, access control, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, security reviews, managed configuration, monitoring and practical reliability work.
APIs, webhooks, CRM, Google Workspace, document workflows, Telegram, automated reporting, data synchronization and replacing repetitive manual work with reliable processes.
More than two years of practical AI work: local LLMs, Ollama, open-source models, AI assistants, prompt/workflow design, RAG patterns, model integration and privacy-oriented local solutions.
Web interfaces, dashboards, static and interactive sites, MVPs, localization, data-driven products, technical prototyping and moving ideas toward working production versions.

AI since 2024
I use LLMs in real workflows: local assistants, automation, information analysis and structuring, integrations, product prototyping and systems where AI interacts with people and external services.
Aoi helps with first contact, structure, research and preparation. Architecture, technical decisions, validation and accountability remain human-led.
